U.S. Route 167 Business (Alexandria, Louisiana)
U.S. Highway 167 Business (BUS US 167, officially BUS US 167-X) is a business route of a United States Highway in Louisiana that serves Rapides Parish. It spans in a south-to-north direction that is also partially cosigned with BUS US 165. The highway is signed as BUS US 167, but it is still signed in places as US 167, with directional tabs. It is known locally as Lee Street and the pair of Mason and Overton streets. It is the older alignment of US 167 through Alexandria.
==Route description==
From the south, Business US 167 begins travelling northward into downtown Alexandria. As the older alignment of US 167, it meets Broadway Avenue at a signalled intersection, which is used as a route to and from I-49. Going towards downtown Alexandria, US 167 Business turns away from Lee Street, following two one-way streets. It then meets US 165 Business, which is paired for about 3/4 of a mile. BUS 165 then turns west toward LA 1, and BUS 167 passes under a railroad overpass, ending its designation at the current US 167.
Business US 167 is an undivided four-lane highway along Lee Street, transitioning to a pair of one-way streets from Lee St. to the Pineville Expressway (US 167/LA 28/LA 1)
